Trade Specifications
LNG demand is growing at 3–4% annually as coal-to-gas switching accelerates in Asia and Europe transitions away from pipeline Russian gas. Spot LNG markets have become increasingly liquid post-2022, with JKM and TTF linked pricing now standard in most short-term supply agreements. New liquefaction capacity from the US and Qatar will add over 150 MTPA by 2030, improving supply security and moderating long-run prices.
